First and foremost, LiveStacks.co is a plant research tool with over 6,000 of the most common and useful cultivated plants. The Plants page can be used to search, sort and filter plants by a variety of different characteristics.

Plant cards display basic plant information such as:

• Identification: Basic ways to identify the plant such as scientific and common names as well as the family the plant belongs to.
• Ratings: Numeric rating from 0-5, with 5 being the highest, based on how useful the plant is for a specific purpose such as edibility or medicinal uses.
• Weed Risk: Quickly identifies plants that could be a potential weed risk.
• Hardiness: The hardiness range in which the plant can best survive.
• Use Counts: The number of documented uses for each use case category i.e. edible uses, medicinal uses, food forest uses etc.

Detailed plant information can be viewed on the Plant details page by clicking the plant name. The small icon next to the plant name can be used to conveniently open the plant in a new tab instead of replacing the current page, which may make it easier to load multiple detail pages without right-clicking.
