By default the Map is shown as a satellite image. However, you can easily switch between different Base Maps by clicking the Map button in the main menu.

The 'Map' submenu shows several different Base Map options:

• Satellite - satellite imagery of the world
• Street - simplified navigation-style map
• Topography - map providing elevation & slope data

Overlays provide additional data that may be useful to better understand the various region(s) your property belongs to. Unlike Base Maps, Overlays are shown on top of your Base Map.

The 'Overlays' submenu shows several different overlays:

• Climate - a Koppen climate map for the US
• Bioregions - the various bioregions of the US
• Geology - global soil data including soil class, pH and composition.
